We are a group of Christians in Wellsburg, West Virginia, who strive diligently to worship God the Creator in the manner in which He has instructed.  This means worshiping Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).  We strive to serve Him with Bible Study, Prayer, and Singing.  We do not use instrumental music in services because we can find no authority to do so in the New Testament.  We observe the Lord's Supper each Sunday as commanded in the scriptures (Acts 20:7).

As members of the Wellsburg church of Christ, we give back to our Lord every Sunday as told in I Corinthians 16:1.  If you are searching for the truth, and want to know what is right, come and study with us from God's Word, because it is the only source and standard of authority we have from God (Matthew 28:18).

MINISTER - DANIEL RUEGG

Daniel has been a Christian since 1990 and began preaching the gospel in 2002. In 2005, he married his lovely wife Beth and together they have been blessed five wonderful children (Alice, Lily, Luke, Daisy, and Paul). Prior to working at Wellsburg, Daniel worked with congregations in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Wooster, Ohio, Waverly, Ohio, and Marietta, Ohio. Daniel loves spending time with his family and enjoys movies, music, and literature. Daniel's favorite Bible verse is II Corinthians 5:21, because it reminds him of the amazing love of Jesus and His gift of forgiveness for sin.
